Irish Tourist Board/Dublin

It has been said that Ireland’s Sweetheart is her Harp and this little journey of a harp being carted along a country lane and then delivered to a quiet stream is a romantic parting from the hustle and bustle of today’s living.

Those of you who have been to Ireland will notice that the harp is a national symbol, it’s the logo for Guinness and Harp Brewery, football teams, and the utilities companies, among others.

This traditional tune, Eleanor Plunkett, is played by a world class Harpist, Patricia Brasill, of Dublin, Ireland;  the Harp featured on the screen was played by it’s Mistress winning her several coveted awards.  Patti, as she is known, lives in Dublin, teaches music at a prestigious Music School and tutors privately.

What romance! The harp obviously goes to the heart of Ireland and must speak of their cultural persona. Does this Ireland still exist anywhere, apart from the hustle and bustle of their great cities?

The storyteller that created this video did a fantastic job. It’s a relief to watch something so calming. Kudos.

Moon Quotes

See how nature – trees, flowers, grass – grows in silence; see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence…we need silence to be able to touch souls.
